Meet The Leaders
Nischal Khatri
I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal and I came to the United States at the age of 11. As a former EL Student, I understand and have faced the cultural and language barrier that immigrants face in the U.S. This is the reason why I decided to be involved with the EL Give Back Program.

I was born in Punjab, India. When I was 5 years old, I moved from India to the US. I was in the ELL program till 6th grade. I didn't struggle as much as others in learning English because I came here when I was very young. But I do remember struggling. I joined the EL Give Back Program to help other students who just arrived from other countries.
